On the Path

I’ve always been a seeker, yet it wasn’t until 15+ years ago that I finally realized what that meant. Naturally, it was during a challenging time in my life, when I stumbled across mindfulness and meditation as a tool to address relentless stress associated with infertility.

I’d been given a lot of advice of how to cope by well-meaning people, yet nothing seemed to get at the core of my struggle – the concept that I had very little control over the outcome. I needed a way to channel my frustration, irritation, anguish, repeated dashed hopes and bitterness before it swallowed me whole.

Enter the breath.

I learned from my very first teacher that the practice is the act and that you cannot do it wrong. Here was something I could control and I've been practicing ever since.

I am drawn to how our thoughts shape our perception and that we have the ability within us to nurture and heal. My practice is a pivotal part of my life. I am so grateful for the teachers who have helped shape it and I am honored to share it with you.

Warmly,
